The wrong side of history
I never wanted to be seen
The right kind of feminist
The right kind of woman
The right kind of activist
Not in my wildest dreams
I wished to be perceived
The best part of a man
Or the woman behind
Of what they achieved
I am me, unapologetic me
My own, ever improved version
Despite their wishes to see
Us, women, in our own private prison
My "likes" and my "follows"
Forever a source of sorrow
For the thought police to borrow
To call us bigot tomorrow
We, in the wrong side of history
Who are the wrong kind of feminists
Labeled the wrong kind of activists
Seen as the wrong kind of women
We, with this damning feminist theory
The right kind of feminist
The right kind of woman
The right kind of activist
Not in my wildest dreams
I wished to be perceived

Esmagando a minha vontade
Esmagando a minha vontade
Passo a passo, dia a dia
Sou reduzida a uma fração
Do que eu poderia ser
Quando você crescer
Quando você for mãe
Quando você casar
Quando você amar
Quando você falar
Quando você sair
Quando você rir
Quando você partir
Faça tudo da maneira
Que a sociedade estipulou
Pois quando a mulher desobedece
"Onúcleo familiar esmorece"
Faça tudo em silêncio
Não queremos ouvir sua voz
Não ouse fazer escolhas
Feche a boca, use as rolhas que te demos
Nós não merecemos siquer
A insurbordinação de uma mulher

The site is called My Book Place and it's a great way to tell people how you came up with your stories, let them know a bit more about yourself and your work.

Grumpy about quitting smoking?
Hey! I'm curious about something. What have changed the most in your life after you quit smoking?
I quit smoking for the second time in my life at new year's Eve! Seriously, 31/12/19 was the last day I smoked. That's the inspiration for the Grumpy Guide to Quit Smoking, out now on Amazon
For me, it has definitely to be the fact that I never smoked indoors - I always had to go outside to have a fag.
I have lived in for European countries so far, and France - the current one - is the most similar to Brazil at this point because you can find buildings with a door on the corridor where you can throw away the litter - you don't need to get to the ground floor and take the litter to the back of the building, like in UK, in Portugal and in Spain.
Now that I'm not smoking anymore, I'm also not taking the litter out so regularly and it the big grey bags accumulate at an astonishing rate!
Count your blessings and all that?

Grumpy Guide news!
Hi, this is my first post on this blog here which (I hope) will also simultaneously appear on my Blogger blog and on GoodReads.
I have just self-published my first book on Amazon. After a bumpy start, things look much better shaped! For instance, until a few days ago, readers could not buy The Grumpy Guide to Quit Smoking on Kindle format from the UK, or the paperback version in Brazil.
Good news for readers in UK: it's cheaper than else where, Kindle option is back on the book's page and, if you have a Kindle Unlimited, this book is free! I don't know for how long, though! Is it always for free on Kindle Unlimited? Is it for a certain amount of time? Anyway, it's a short book and a fast read! x

The Grumpy Guide to Quit Smoking, by Andreia Nobre
The Grumpy Guide To Quit Smoking
Andreia Nobre was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1977, and finished Journalism School in 2003 at University Estacio de Sa. She started writing poetry at 10, and went on to write short tales. After graduating, worked as a freelance Journalist, writing pieces for online magazines like Brazil Post (Huffington Post Blog) and QG Feminista).
She lived in Portugal, Scotland and Spain before moving to France. In UK, she came into contact with stand-up comedy, and since then she started writing humour content as well. Her first published book, The Grumpy Guide to Quit Smoking, was written after she succeed to quit smoking for a second time.
Description:
There are many ways to quit smoking. But what is a person to do when they are... the grumpy kind? The Grumpy Guide is a short tale about how cranky people can quit smoking too, while remaining blissfully moaning. It must be a joke. But it's cheaper that a packet of cigarettes.
It’s a “lighter” decision for some. It may all be up in smoke. All puns intended.
Available on Amazon for Kindle or in Paperback
